"The Cape Breton Fiddler" Feature Documentary is in development. A pre-production trip is currently planned for Feb. and March 2010. Director Adam Taub will travel to Cape Breton to meet with a variety of characters and fiddlers from around the island and begin some initial recording of the music. Adam has visited Cape Breton on 3 other occasions and believes the people, music and geography of the Island are incredibly wonderful and unique and will make for a great documentary film. Adam has completed 3 other documentary films including "Don Angelo," "La Quinceañera," and the "The Duke of Bachata."
Many have already assisted with initial research on this project including Ron Macinnis, The director of the influencial film "The Vanishing Cape Breton Fiddler" and renowned fiddler Kinnon Beaton.
